eing the television champ that I am, did anyone else watch Lady Gaga's Monster Ball special on HBO this weekend? Um, if you didn't, you probably should because it was amazing! I've always been a fan of Gaga, but you know not in the creepy obsessive way. Watching this just made me an even bigger fan. First of all, though this was a concert, it really wasn't. It was like seeing a show. She created an entire story out of this performance, and when she spoke to the audience she was quite inspirational *tears up a little*. But no seriously, this special made me have even more respect for the girl.
I will also mention she changed outfits for practically every song, but I'm okay with that since it's Gaga and you just gotta love her crazy outfits. I will say there was one outfit...you know that plastic clear one she wears where you can practically see her boobs. Yeah, at one point she was rockin' that jaunt, but she was a little sweaty soo it looked a little weird. Let me see if I can find a picture of it somewhere...ah, there it is! It was the best picture I could find. So look at that picture and imagine her sweating so that the plastic is just sticking to her body. Somewhat unflattering right? I know.
Nevertheless, she finally made it to the Monster Ball, and the show was just amazing. If you haven't watched it and you have HBO, you need to! There was one song she did from her album that I never heard before, and now I'm like obsessed with it. It practically been playing on repeat for the past 24 hours. Tell me what you think. It's called So Happy I Could Die. Enjoy.
Do you know what made me the most happiest watching this show? If you pay close attention to her dancers, one of them looks familiar. It's Mark from So You Think You Can Dance! I was so excited to see him! I'm sitting there watching this show with other people who watch the dance show and no one picked up on the fact he was dancing. The best part was when he had a solo dance with Gaga and at one point he actually picked her up, put her on his shoulder, and carried her around the stage. I was so proud of him. I mean look at him and look at what a show like So You Think You Can Dance did for him. He's traveling the world with the hottest superstar in the world right now doing what he loves -- dancing. Pretty impressive right?
She looks like an Aztec chief ripping out a heart in that picture. Good god that's creepy.
